Rob Apps – Owner
With over 20 years of experience in coaching vision-impaired athletes, we offer our participants the opportunity to experience the challenging sports of Goalball, Blind Cricket and Blind Futsal.
Rob Apps retired as the Australian Men’s Goalball Coach in 2012. Rob has been coaching, leading, and supporting vision-impaired athletes since 1995.
He was part of the coaching panels for the Australian Men’s and Women’s Goalball teams at the Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000) Paralympics and World Championships in Madrid (1998), Spartanburg (2006) and Sheffield (2010).
He is the current Victorian Men’s Coach and has coached Victoria to 3 National Titles.
He is also a qualified Level One International Goalball Referee.
Rob is also a qualified Physical Education Teacher and has taught in the Secondary and TAFE sectors for 20 years.
Daniel Pritchard – Key Presenter
Daniel is our main presenter and is a key proponent for Vision Impaired Sports.
His enthusiasm for his role is infectious and students and teachers alike love his ability to inspire students to challenge themselves to move out of their comfort zone and accept the challenges of playing sports with a vision impairment.
He is a Victorian and Australian representative in Goalball and Blind Cricket.
He loves educating students about vision-Impairment and vision impaired sports.
